Training and Development of people working within the milk harvesting and water application sectors is the MPTA's key focus. The nature of our industry is that work undertaken is often specialised and costly so it is important to ensure that quality standards are upheld and that there is consistency in the work of our tradespeople. MPTA offers a suite of training courses in both the milk harvesting and water application sectors to aid in the development of staff.
MPTA offers an Advanced Qualification Structure which trainees can work towards. These qualifications are made up of a number of grouped courses and include the Advanced Certificate in Milking Machine Testing and the Certificate in Mastitis & Milk Quality Advisor. All training courses are run by the Technology Training Centre Ltd; a wholly owned subsidiary company of NZMPTA.
Course Policies
The following policies apply to all of the courses offered by NZMPTA or the Technology Training Centre Ltd.Confirmation Policy:
All registrations will be acknowledged or confirmed within 7 days of receipt of application.Minimum Number Policy:
All courses require a minimum number of attendees to be registered 10 days prior to the course commencement. If minimum numbers are not reached by this date an advice will be sent giving notice of its pending cancellation unless further registrations are received. If the event is cancelled potential attendees will be advised and options given of alternative dates and / or locations.Payment Policy:
All course fees must be paid prior to course attendance.Participants undertaking online learning are required to make payment prior to being granted access to the online learning modules.
