5. The Industry’s First Nationally Recognized Apprenticeship
MPTA is proud to provide a formal apprenticeship qualification for dairy engineers called the New Zealand Certificate in Dairy Systems (Engineering). This three-year apprenticeship program, which is NZQA-approved, addresses the critical need for skilled tradespeople in the dairy industry. It covers a wide range of trades, providing apprentices with the necessary skills and knowledge in milking systems, pumping systems, and beyond.

Annual membership is only $450.00 + gst for Dealer, Member's of the Register or Associate Members and $650.00 + gst for OEM Members. The membership year runs from January to December.
