Milking Machine Tester Refresher

Designed for those who have already completed the full Milking Machine Testers course and feel they need to refresh or update their skills and knowledge regarding test methodology and reporting. The new Vacuum Regulation Characteristics module (introduced Sept 2008) is included together with standard test methods and variable speed drive systems.

Course Description

This two day refresher course is designed for people who have already completed the full Milking Machine Testing Course and feel they need to refresh or update their skills and knowledge regarding test methodology and reporting. Standard test method, variable speed drive systems and vacuum regulation are included.

Who Should Attend

All past participants of the Milking Machine Testers course who wish to update their knowledge and or renew their Practising Certificate.

Why You Should Attend

  • Machine testers often operate alone and over time it’s possible to stray from standard practice without even realising that this has happened. This leaves a tester exposed to criticism, or worse, should something go wrong.
  • The recently added regulator and VSD tests need to be well understand to effectively run these tests and make valid recommendations.
  • No doubt everyone at some stage has questions that have gone unanswered – this is the perfect opportunity to seek answers and share machine testing experiences with your colleagues.

Course Content

Participants will learn: Testing methods, following the flow charts for both standard and variable speed drive systems, testing standard and variable speed drive systems, testing vacuum regulation characteristics, completing the forms and making general recommendations.

Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a NZMPTA Certificate of Achievement in Milking Machine Testing Refresher.
