Job Summary
Farm Supplies Central are looking for a Pump & Milking Machine Engineer to help us service our wide range of rural and farm clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Installation and maintenance of milking systems
• Construction and maintenance of milking platforms and backing gates
• Diagnostics, installation and repair of pumping systems
• General design, fabrication and installation
• Job management

Core skills
• Great people skills and management
• Excellent record keeping
• Experience in milking, pumps, and working toward proficiency in the plumbing or electrical industry
• Welding – mild steel, arc, stainless steel, tig
• Mechanical diagnostic and solution finding

• Mechanical aptitude with a desire to upskill
• Physically fit
• Clean and tidy
• Excellent customer service attitude

As many of our clients are from the farming industry, a background or strong interest in the rural sector would be an advantage.

Wages will be commensurate with skills achieved.

This role will appeal to the self-starter with a clean driver’s licence and strong understanding of health and safety practices.

After a training period you must be available to work on a rotating “on-call” roster.
